In Nigeria and some other smaller African countries, diversity (ethnic, religious, cultural, background, class, style etc) is part of the mix in the crucible. That why I'm forwarding these two items about diversity within among other places, the education system, by an old friend from Sierra Leone from way back in our early teen years, music years, Denys Blell, the author of"No Place To Hide In America: or The American Misadventures of a Honky White Boy Puerto Rican Mulatto Negro Cracker Syrian Uncle Tom Bastard from Africa " I discussed diversity with him this evening, with him by phone, over there in Dallas,Texas and he was quoting some Martin Buber to me – that you don't have to stand in someone else's shoes etc and that it's even better to affirm the other.

This posting is with his full blessings.
