Those who say that all human beings originated from Africa have never treated the continent with respect. It is foolhardy to treat one's origin with all sorts of negative things both real or imaginary.
It is so convenient for the so called researchers to turn to Africa to rubbish her with deceases or harmful bacteria without emphasizing the good things the continent has done or contributed meaningfully to the development of human race.
Why can't African scientists come out with their own discoveries or inventions to counter all these negativities?

--What is new. Good things never come from Africa. Even the fact that Africa is considered the original "home" of the hominids major innovative turning points in human history, for example, the transition from Paleolithic (hunter-gatherer) to Neolithic age (agriculture and sedentary lifestyles that came with government, metallurgy, commerce, etc.), are credited to non-Africans! So we have been debited with HIV-AIDS, TB, Influenza, etc. One day oxygen will be credited to Africa! Then again some African scientists will give their blessings to this science by pinpointing the exact location in Africa where the said TB flourished!
