The total expenses for La Vonda's funeral, minus reception, is $6,000. If you can donate do please send it right away so that she can make the payment. I know that this is the Christmas season, to be followed by school fees and tuitions. If you speak with family members, I am sure they will forgo the annual gifts for this year to help her.
I apologize for this intervention but it has become necessary to do so. If 12 of us can donate $500 each, we will reach the goal. I will send her a check for $500 in the next 24 hours.
