Re: USA Africa Dialogue Series - Biafra’s Open Letter To The UN

Permit me to think aloud: when will this ethnic bickering and posturing end? I wonder if some Americans will also stand up and take the US government to The Hague for the American civil war.

The last time I checked, Ojukwu and Biafra started the war. If they were overpowered by a superior Federal Forces, what morality are they seeking today through the UN? I won't be surprised if Boko Haram also stand up one day to demand UN intervention for the ongoing FG's actions against the group?

Why would these ethnic apostles spare Ojukwu who, despite being a soldier, led the people into a war they were ill-equipped for?

I think we should, at least, consider issues of ownership and responsibility in this matter. Enough of this pull-the-nation-down posturing, please. Lets build this nation by accepting responsibility and not pass it. A bird that calls for rain, should endure the (in)dignity of standing under it!

He exposed defenseless people to uncertain death, made many orphans, widows, and widowers while he was amassing women and riches. Today, his children are fighting over his wealth while the people he hoodwinked to fight for his craze project can only cling to memories of their dead ones.

Together we shall build this nation or together we shall perish in it's flame.
