Developing  a Calendar of Major Africa Diaspora Events related to the African Union Diaspora Legacy Projects or US-Africa Policies on the Hill during the period of the US-Africa Summit.
 
 

US-Africa Summit 
Thursday August 5 to Friday August 6

Host: The White House
 
President Barack Obama will be hosting African Heads of State in a landmark Summit that seeks to widen US trade, development and security ties with an increasingly dynamic continent.

The National Summit on the Transformative Capacity of  Africa Union Diaspora 

Date: Monday August 4, 2014
Host: Indigenous Continental African Network-Diaspora Organizations - I CAN DO and Partners
Venue:University of Maryland College Park
